About the Committee

The Development and Quality Committee is the responsible for all quality-related activities within the department.
Committee Objectives
1- Monitor the college's strategic plan.
2- Supervise evaluation and academic accreditation activities within the department.
3- Monitor the overall quality level in the department.
4- Work towards continuous improvement of quality performance in the department.
Committee Tasks
1- Familiarize staff with the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment's best practices.
2- Provide evidence and documents pertaining to the standards.
3- Prepare, document, classify, and arrange files according to the practices.
4- Utilize tools to verifying and measuring the standards.
5- Plan and conduct a self-study of the program by the standards committees.
6- Complete the standards measures document.
7- Write the self-study report and the program's annual report.
8- Prepare the annual operational plan for the committee based on specified models, monitoring the implementation of plan projects, and continuously track their indicators.
9- Ensure the preparation of program and course descriptions as per the National Commission for Evaluation and Academic Accreditation's models.
10- Ensure the preparation and fulfillment of course reports.
11- Identify and proposing indicators specific to the standards.
12- Prepare benchmark comparisons for the indicators.
13- Submit recommendations to the department council based on reports findings.
14- Ensure the implementation of recommendations in performance indicator reports, program reports, and opinion surveys.

16- Prepare follow-up reports and the annual report on the operational plan implementation, including the next year's improvement plan.
