The Curriculum and Plans Committee is dedicated to enhancing the department's curriculum and study plans, aligning with the University's quality standards and accreditation requirements.
Committee Tasks
1. Proposing new study plans.
2. Oversee preparation and review of study plans and programs, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
3. Oversee the development of study plans and programs, ensuring their alignment with international standards and the job market requirements.
4. Prepare and submit reports on study plans and programs to the Dean's Office for college council approval.
5. Coordinate with the college departments and the university's curriculum unit to secure plan approval.
6. Monitor the curriculum's progress in the study plans on a semester and annual basis.
7. Supervise the availability of university textbooks and their sources.
8. Provide recommendations, reports, and proposals for curriculum and study plans development.
9. Monitor developments in the curriculum and study plans at both local and international university levels.
10. Establish general principles for developing and evaluating the curriculum and study plans, ensuring alignment with the university's quality standards and accreditation practices.
11. Review and monitor university and college requirements and specializations in the study plans to ensure they remains up to date.
12. Monitor the availability of textbooks and required references for teaching the curriculum outlined in the study plans.
