Academic Guidance Committee
About the Committee

The committee seeks to provide high-quality guidance services to all students, assisting them in understanding the college's systems and academic programs, and addressing their problems through individual and group counseling, thereby contributinge to the college's goals.

Committee Objectives
1- Provide academic information to students and familiarize with study systems and regulations.
2- Encourage and support high-achieving and talented students, and assist struggling students in improving their academic performance.
3- Develop students' self-capabilities in problem-solving and academic progress correction.
4- Motivate students to engage positively in the educational process and participate in extracurricular activities.

Committee Tasks
1- Prepare the annual operational plan according to specified models, continuously monitor plan projects' implementation, and tracking its indicators.
2- Develop and supervise  the implementation of the academic guidance plan for the program.
3- Assign new students to faculty members and ensuring the continuity of existing students with their advisors at each semester's start.
4- Supervise orientation and guidance programs for new students, familiarizing them with the study system and examination procedures.
5- Identify high-achieving and struggling students, providing them with necessary support and guidance.
6- Monitor academic advising reports and submit a detailed report to the department or program council for approval.
7- Promote and enhance the culture of academic guidance among the program's staff.
8- Design and provide academic guidance programs and services to enhance the students'' academic performance and address social issues.
9- Prepare follow-up reports and the annual report on the operational plan's implementation, including the next year's improvement plan.
10-. Complete all assigned tasks, study referred matters, and submit appropriate proposals.
