Overview
The committee strives to promote the culture of academic guidance and provide high-quality guidance services to students, aiming to assist them in understanding college systems, academic programs, and overcoming their challenges through individual and group counseling. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the achievement of the college's objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Committee

1- Prepare the annual operational plan for the committee according to specified models, monitor the implementation of plan projects, and continuously monitor their indicators.
2- Develop the academic guidance plan for the program and oversee its implementation.
3- Allocate new students to faculty members while ensuring continuity for returning students with their advisors at the beginning of the semester.
4- Supervise orientation and guidance programs for new students to familiarize them with the study system and examinations.
5- Identify and provide support and guidance to academically successful and struggling students.
6- Monitor the reports received from academic advisors and submit a detailed report to the department council or the college council with a unified program for approval.
7- Promote and enhance the culture of academic guidance among program staff members.
8- Identify and provide programs and services of academic guidance that contribute to enhance students' academic performance and address their social issues.
9- Prepare monitoring reports and the annual report on the implementation of the operational plan, including the improvement plan for the following year.
10- Accomplish all tasks assigned to the committee, study all matters referred to it, and submit appropriate proposals regarding them.
