About the committee:
The Plans and Curricula Committee aims to develop reliable curriculum and study plans to ensure high-quality curricula for all courses are conducted in the department based on the quality and accreditation standards in force at the university.
Committee Tasks :
1- Proposing new study plans.
2- Supervising the preparation of study plans and programs and reviewing them to ensure that they meet the necessary conditions.
3- Supervising the development of study plans and programs and determining their compatibility with international standards and labour market requirements.
4- Preparing reports on study plans and programmes and sending them to the college dean for college council approval.
5- Coordination with the college departments and the university’s curriculum unit to approve the plans.
6- Tracking the extent of curriculum fulfilment in study plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
7- Monitoring the resources for college materials and their accessibility.
8- Providing suggestions, evaluations, and proposals on all matters associated with the development of study plans and curriculum.
9- Keeping monitor of all modifications made to study plans and curricula at both domestic and international universities.
10- Establishing general foundations for developing and evaluating curricula and study plans in line with the quality and accreditation standards in force at the university.
11- Examining and monitoring the degree to which study plans adhere to the demands of the university, colleges, and specialisation, as well as how well they keep up with developments.
12- Check if the books and resources recommended for teaching the study plan's curriculum remain accessible.
