Development and Quality Committee.

About the committee :
The Development and Quality Committee is supervising and supporting all the activities related to quality and development at the department.

Committee objectives:

1- Follow up the college’s strategic plan.

2- Supervising academic evaluation and accreditation activities within the department.

3-Monitor the level of quality in the department.

4- Emphasis on enhancing the department's quality performance on an ongoing basis.

1- Educating staff members about the National Authority for Evaluation and Accreditation's best practices.

2- Provision of standard-specific evidence and documentation.

3- Preparation, documentation, classification and ranking of standard files in accordance with the practices contained therein

4-Using the standards verification and measurement tools

5- Planning and conducting the self-study of the programme by standards committees.

6- Completing the standards document for the standards.

7- Writing the self-study report and the program’s annual report.

8- Preparing the committee’s annual operational plan according to the models specified for that, while following up on the implementation of the plan’s projects and monitoring its indicators on an ongoing basis.

9- Ensure that programme and course descriptions are prepared in accordance with the models of the National Evaluation and Academic Accreditation Authority.

10- Ensure that course reports are prepared and completed.
11- Identify and propose indicators for standards.

12- Preparation of reference comparisons of indicators.

13- Make recommendations to the department council in light of the reports and their findings.

14- Ensure implementation of recommendations contained in performance indicator reports, programme reports and poll reports.

15- Completing the standards document.

16- Preparation of follow-up reports and annual report on the implementation of the operational plan, including an improvement plan for next year.
